NRE Deposits
Following NRE deposits are available in our Bank.
a) NRE Current A/c
b) NRE Savings Bank A/c
c) NRE Fixed Deposit A/c
d) NRE Cash Certificate
NRE accounts can be opened in the name of non resident individuals of Indian nationality/origin, overseas companies, firms, societies, corporate bodies etc.
Interest earned on NRE balances is exempt from Income Tax.
Balances under NRE accounts are repatriable.
